Ports of Call / Amiga 500 Game @Review
Today we are reviewing a Trading game for Commodore Amiga 500, it worked fine with the basic 512 kb version.
The story its easy, you have to purchase a ship , or ships, that costs from 1$ million to $60 million *each of these have different storage capacity , tons, speed (knots), and so on.
Entry and first screen
The goal in this game is also simple: to carry products between ports, with the ships already purchased.
Also, you must maintain your ship: refuel, repair and of course sell it or buy new ones: you have a buying screen where you can buy Low cost ships, pre-owned ships, high tech, etc.
Here you can select your home port: you can travel through these ports carrying products.
Buying at the beginning, with low cost ships, from 1$ million
This is the main screen of the game, where you can see all ships, (a number is shown moving in the globe), and a red square indicates your ship or ships.
It’s a good game to play trading games on Amiga system, no so complex, no many options, but it allows to play easy and quick.
Good graphics, as usual for the Amiga.
On the cons , it lacks a bit more options, more complexity, but for me it’s a good game for playing a bit, but it isnot an addictive game.
TO BE IMPROVED:
MORE COMPLEX OPTIONS
A PLACE WHERE WE CAN SEE OUR SHIPS (garage)
